Jose Semorile arrived in Washington, D.C. in 1990 after growing up in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Calling the DMV home for over 30 years has given Jose a strong perspective to what it means to live in the nation’s capital. Throughout his experiences, he has seen the evolution of the neighborhoods along with the people in a large transient city. He strives to help everyone make the DMV their home, whether it is for a short time or long time.
Jose started his career in cellular telecommunications as a customer service representative where he gained valuable and lifelong communication and hospitality skills. He became a database marketing manager, learning how to analyze large data sets creating reports, all for the benefit of his customers, so they could reach a well-informed decision. Each of these skills have attributed to his successful career in real estate, whether it is being a listener to the needs/wants of his clients, researching and explaining the market data in a way everyone will understand, or learning about the ever-changing neighborhoods.

Jose supports many charitable initiatives. He is extensively involved in his community, including being on the Advisory Board of Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind (CLB), which helps the blind or visually impaired. Jose is also a candidate to The Sovereign Order of Malta whose mission is to be at the service of the poor, the sick, refugees and marginalized communities in 122 countries around the world. When Jose is not helping to change the world, he enjoys traveling with his wife and dog Vinny.
